As the Wizarding World enters another major year, Build-A-Bear Workshop is doubling down on the magic of Harry Potter with an expanded collection bringing even more of the iconic franchise into its world of customizable plush.
Launching alongside Harry Potter’s birthday, the newest wave goes far beyond simply dressing a furry friend in their Hogwarts best. From an all-new Harry Potter Bear to character-inspired fashions, Hogwarts House mascots and returning magical accessories, Build-A-Bear is giving fans plenty of new ways to bring a little piece of the Wizarding World home.
Leading the latest additions is a new Harry Potter Bear, joined by sweater fashions inspired by Harry and Ron.
But Hogwarts House pride is also getting a major moment.
Build-A-Bear’s Mini Beans collection is welcoming four new characters inspired by the mascots of Hogwarts’ legendary houses. Fans can collect the Gryffindor Lion, Ravenclaw Raven, Hufflepuff Badger and Slytherin Snake, bringing another pocket-sized twist to the growing Harry Potter assortment.
And those are only the newest additions.
Returning favorites make this one of Build-A-Bear’s larger Harry Potter offerings, with Hogwarts House robes and scarves, school uniform fashions, a Sorting Hat with sound, a light-up wand with sound, Firebolt broom wristie and Harry Potter Bear Carrier among the accessories available for fans to create their own magical companion.
It is another example of just how far the Build-A-Bear experience has grown beyond the bear itself. Fans aren’t simply choosing a Harry Potter plush; they can build out an entire Hogwarts-inspired look around their furry friend while representing their favorite house and pieces of the franchise.
The timing also couldn’t be better.
Harry Potter is celebrating its 25th anniversary as excitement continues to build around the next era of the Wizarding World. For longtime fans who grew up alongside Harry, as well as younger audiences discovering Hogwarts for themselves, Build-A-Bear is leaning directly into the multigenerational reach that has helped make Harry Potter such a lasting cultural staple.
And the celebration isn’t stopping with merchandise.
Build-A-Bear is extending the magic into a special fan giveaway in the U.S. and U.K., turning the launch into a larger Harry Potter experience.
One U.S. winner will receive four tickets to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, four round-trip airline tickets, a two-night hotel stay and a private VIP Build-A-Bear Workshop experience.
Across the pond, one U.K. winner will receive their own private VIP Build-A-Bear Workshop experience alongside four personalized Hogwarts House robes.
With new plush, collectible Mini Beans, fashions, interactive accessories and fan experiences all arriving around Harry Potter’s birthday, Build-A-Bear isn’t keeping this celebration small.
