Ready to hop into your next family movie night?
After charming audiences during its theatrical run earlier this year, Disney and Pixar’s Hoppers has officially made the jump to Disney+, giving families everywhere a chance to experience one of Pixar’s most unique adventures from the comfort of home.
Blending heart, humor and a delightfully wild sci-fi concept, Hoppers introduces viewers to a world where humans can transfer their consciousness into lifelike robotic animals and communicate directly with the creatures around them. Yes, it’s every animal lover’s dream come true.
At the center of the story is Mabel, a passionate teen with a deep love for animals. When she discovers a groundbreaking technology that allows her to “hop” into a robotic beaver, she eagerly embraces the opportunity and finds herself embarking on an unforgettable adventure into the animal kingdom.
Leading the voice cast is Piper Curda as Mabel, alongside Bobby Moynihan as the charismatic beaver King George. The film also features Jon Hamm as Mayor Jerry Generazzo, Meryl Streep as the determined Insect Queen and Tom Law as the endlessly curious Tom Lizard.
Behind the scenes, Hoppers brings together an impressive creative team. The film is directed by Daniel Chong from a screenplay by Jesse Andrews and produced by Nicole Paradis Grindle, with Pixar legends Pete Docter and Peter Sohn serving among the executive producers. The adventure is further brought to life through an original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh.
First released in theaters on March 6, 2026, Hoppers quickly became a favorite among families thanks to its imaginative premise, colorful cast of characters and signature Pixar blend of laughter, emotion and adventure.
Now streaming exclusively on Disney+, there’s never been a better time to discover what happens when curiosity, friendship and a little bit of robotic animal chaos collide.
Will Hoppers be your next family movie night pick?
