Now, that musical collection is growing even larger as Disney begins bringing more of its theme park attraction soundtracks to major music streaming platforms.
Following the recent refresh of the classic Walt Disney World attraction Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Disney has officially released the attraction’s soundtrack album. The five-track collection, composed by Mike Rubino, allows fans to bring the energetic atmosphere of Star Command into their everyday routines — whether they are preparing for adventure or simply running errands.
In addition, Disney has also released music tied to another refreshed attraction experience. Ahead of its May 26 debut at Walt Disney World and July 2 opening at Disneyland Resort, fans can now stream the soundtrack for “Soarin’ Across America.” Featuring arrangements by Bruce Broughton, the musical release captures the sweeping and emotional feeling of soaring across the nation just ahead of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebrations.
Music has always played a vital role in how The Walt Disney Company approaches storytelling — including within its theme park attractions. For many guests, attraction music becomes inseparable from the memories tied to those experiences themselves.
