There was a dump of information on The Owl House and we are here to gather it all up and give you our thoughts before the season two premiere on June 12th. Season one was a slow burn for us but we did enjoy where the show as going with the story as we got to the end of the season. This leaves us very excited to see what they have in store for season two and three of the show. We enjoyed the fact that they got us to a real interesting story by the end of the first season and now we know that story will be concluded in a third season that will have an interesting format of having some longer specials. This is a GREAT way to end the show and we hope that this format plays out well and other series use it also.
We know what stories from The Owl House need to be finished up and we have them listed out nicely below “return Luz to the Human Realm, help Eda confront her inner demons, and search for the truth about King’s past” and we are on board with all of them. The fight with Emperor Belos was great nad this is what we signed up for when we saw the trailer. The other piece of information that we got was the season two intro which you can see below.
It is great to see a new intro to the show as it shows us how the characters have grown and what we can expect going forward.
Disney Channel has ordered a third season of the Peabody Award-nominated animated series “The Owl House,” ahead of the season two premiere, SATURDAY, JUNE 12 (10:00 a.m. EDT/PDT). Season three will be comprised of three 44-minute specials. New episodes of the fantasy-comedy series debut every Saturday through Aug. 14 on Disney Channel and will also be available the same day on DisneyNOW. Created and executive produced by Dana Terrace (Disney’s “DuckTales”), season two picks up immediately following the confrontation with Emperor Belos and finds our heroes working together to return Luz to the Human Realm, help Eda confront her inner demons, and search for the truth about King’s past. Additionally, a new opening title sequence for the season was revealed today and is available here.
Meredith Roberts, senior vice president/general manager, Television Animation, Disney Channels, said, “Dana and her team have created a series that continues to push the envelope with epic and diverse storylines, an astounding world and multifaceted characters that have captivated our audience. We’re eager to showcase more adventures in seasons two and three.”
The season two guest voice cast includes Peter Gallagher (“The O.C.”), Felicia Day (“The Guild”), Harvey Guillén (FX’s “What We Do in the Shadows”), Nik Dodani (“Atypical”), Alex Lawther (“The End of the F***ing World”) and Debra Wilson (“MADtv”).
“The Owl House” follows Luz, a self-assured teenage girl who stumbles upon a portal to a magical realm where she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and a tiny warrior, King. Despite not having magical abilities, Luz pursues her dream of becoming a witch by serving as Eda’s apprentice at the Owl House and ultimately finds a new family in an unlikely setting. In 4Q20, “The Owl House” was a top-five cable animated series with kids and girls 6-11, and the series has amassed over 58 million views on Disney Channel YouTube since its launch in January 2020.

Starring in the series is Sarah-Nicole Robles (“Star Darlings”) as Luz, Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”) as Eda, Alex Hirsch (Disney’s “Gravity Falls”) as King and Hooty, Matthew Rhys (“The Americans”) as Emperor Belos, Issac Ryan Brown (Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home”) as Gus, Tati Gabrielle (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) as Willow, Mae Whitman (“Good Girls”) as Amity and Cissy Jones (“Little Big Awesome”) as Lilith.
