GROWN-ISH – Late Registration Pics

After leaving high school, we are sure that many of us felt the same way that Zoey Johnson, played by Yara Shadidi, does, thinking they are the coolest person to arrive at college. Zoey is going to learn quickly that college is not the same as high school and she has a lot to learn. We love seeing Zoey’s story continue in Grown-ish while at the same time watching the family with her in Black-ish. This all seems very similar to what happened with A Different World.

GROWN-ISH – “Late Registration” – In the series premiere, Zoey Johnson arrives at California University certain she will be a hot shot on campus, but quickly learns she may have a little more growing to do. This episode of “grown-ish” airs Wednesday, January 3 (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT) on Freeform.

Our favorite part of this is how Charlie Telphy, played by Deon Cole, will play the role of part-time marketing professor at the school that Zoey attends. This was made reference to in an episode of Black-ish and we look forward to seeing his character. This is also a great way to keep both shows connected as well.
