There is a chill in the air, pumpkins are beginning to appear and things are starting to go bump in the night.
Yes, Halloween season is officially upon us.
And what better way to count down the days until October 31 than with a few friendly ghosts, mischievous monsters, witches, haunted mansions and maybe even a little hocus pocus?
Freeform’s annual 31 Nights of Halloween is returning this October with an entire month of spooky programming ready to help fans celebrate the season.
Running from October 1 straight through Halloween night, this year’s lineup brings back plenty of familiar seasonal favorites. From Casper and Hocus Pocus to Monsters, Inc., Scooby-Doo, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more, there are plenty of opportunities for families to settle in for a frightfully fun movie night.
And because some of Freeform’s October lineup ventures a little further into the shadows than we typically do here at BSCKids, we’re doing things a little differently.
Rather than listing every movie airing throughout the month, we’ve pulled out the kid- and family-friendly selections you’ll want to keep on your Halloween calendar.
