There are a great many things that make all the iterations of “My Little Pony” charming and unforgettable. The characters, the worlds, the stories, and yes—naturally, music.
With the news of a brand-new chapter of “My Little Pony” releasing next year, Hasbro has already begun laying the groundwork for this next, seventh generation of the popular range. Rather than simply leading with art or short intro-focused videos, they are leading with melodies.
Previously, the new anthem for the generation, “Forever Friendship,” a short but sweet melody that is perfect for slow mornings and routines, was released on music streaming platforms.
Now, under a month later, a second new track has been released by Hasbro. Titled “Stay Curious,” this new track’s vocal lead is none other than our shining leader, Twilight Sparkle.
“Stay Curious” seems to be Twilight’s main theme. With concepts of shining bright, finding friendship and discovery, the song tracks with the core principles that are Twilight’s personality. While this new generation will likely reset a sizable amount of the Twilight fans had already become very well acquainted with, it appears when it comes right down to the hoof of the matter, Twilight is still herself.
And that alone sparks even more enthusiasm around this new chapter.
As we enter the final months of the year, there is little question that there will be even more rollouts ahead of the new series’ start in 2027. That said, we can’t wait to see the journey these ponies will be taking us on. Moreover, the music they will also roll out along the way.
