The Holiday Season Starts Early With Elf on the Shelf’s New “Harry Potter” Collaboration

As Christmas in July winds down, retailers are already beginning to look ahead to the holiday season.

While many families may still be enjoying the summer months, the countdown to holiday shopping is quietly getting underway, with preorders beginning to appear for some of the season’s biggest releases. Among the first to arrive is a magical new collaboration bringing together two family traditions that have delighted generations.

The Elf on the Shelf is partnering with the Harry Potter franchise for an all-new collection of Wizarding World-inspired accessories, giving Scout Elves a magical makeover just in time for the holidays.

Created through a collaboration between The Lumistella Company and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the collection arrives alongside the 25th anniversary celebration of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and includes three themed accessory sets designed to help families blend their favorite holiday tradition with the Wizarding World.

The lineup features a Hogwarts House Robe Set complete with a wand, sweater, house-inspired scarves and patches, a cozy Gryffindor Pajama Set featuring a teddy bear, and the Insta-Moments Pop-Ups Hogwarts Great Hall Prop Set, allowing Scout Elves to recreate one of the franchise’s most recognizable locations with festive holiday touches.

The collaboration continues a growing trend of The Elf on the Shelf expanding beyond its original North Pole roots through partnerships with beloved entertainment brands, giving families even more ways to personalize their Scout Elf traditions around the stories they already enjoy together.

Families won’t have to wait long to begin planning for the holidays, either. Preorders for the collection are scheduled to begin this July on Amazon, with additional retailers expected to begin carrying the products in September, making this one of the earliest holiday releases of the season.

While December may still be months away, the arrival of holiday preorders serves as another reminder that the busiest shopping season of the year is quickly approaching. For families who count down to both Christmas morning and trips to Hogwarts, this latest collaboration offers a magical new way to bring those traditions together when Scout Elves return later this year.
