The countdown to one of animation’s most anticipated theatrical releases has officially entered its final stretch.
With just weeks remaining until “Coyote vs. Acme” races into theaters, Warner Bros. has released the film’s final trailer while also confirming that tickets are now officially on sale.
Serving as one last preview before audiences finally see the long-awaited Looney Tunes adventure on the big screen, the new trailer showcases even more of Wile E. Coyote’s legal battle against the very company responsible for decades of cartoon catastrophes.
After years of exploding gadgets, collapsing contraptions and countless failed attempts to catch the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote decides enough is enough. Teaming up with attorney Kevin Avery (Will Forte), the determined genius takes ACME to court, where he squares off against the corporation’s slick lawyer, Buddy Crane (John Cena), in what promises to be one of the franchise’s most unique stories yet.
The latest footage continues to highlight the film’s blend of live-action comedy and classic Looney Tunes animation while offering new glimpses of its courtroom antics, larger-than-life ACME inventions and the timeless slapstick humor fans have come to expect from the iconic coyote.
Based on Ian Frazier’s 1990 New Yorker article of the same name, “Coyote vs. Acme” is directed by Dave Green from a screenplay by Samy Burch, with a story developed by James Gunn, Jeremy Slater and Burch. Alongside Forte and Cena, the film stars Lana Condor and Tone Bell, while longtime Looney Tunes voice actors Eric Bauza and Jeff Bergman bring the beloved animated characters to life.
After an unforgettable journey to reach theaters, “Coyote vs. Acme” is finally set to make its long-awaited debut on August 28, with tickets now available for moviegoers eager to see Wile E. Coyote’s biggest fight yet.
