A New Avatar Rises As ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ Sets October Premiere And Debuts First Teaser

A new era of the Avatar has officially begun.

During San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Paramount+ unveiled the first teaser trailer for “Avatar: Seven Havens,” while also confirming that the next chapter in the beloved franchise will premiere globally on October 9.

Set after the events of “The Legend of Korra,” the all-new animated series introduces fans to Pavi, a young Earthbender whose life is forever changed after discovering she is the world’s newest Avatar.

However, unlike the Avatars who came before her, Pavi enters a world devastated by a catastrophic event where the title of Avatar is no longer viewed as a symbol of hope. Instead, many believe she is destined to become humanity’s destroyer rather than its protector.

Forced into hiding from both human and spirit enemies alike, Pavi and her long-lost twin sister embark on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth surrounding their origins while racing to save the Seven Havens—the last remaining strongholds of civilization.

Created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the original minds behind “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” the series stars Saheli Khan as Pavi alongside Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, Major Curda, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan and longtime franchise voice actor Dee Bradley Baker.

The newly released teaser offers fans their first glimpse at this darker chapter of the Avatar universe, showcasing a world forever changed while teasing the challenges awaiting the franchise’s newest elemental master.

With an entirely new Avatar stepping into one of animation’s most beloved legacies, “Avatar: Seven Havens” looks poised to usher in the next generation of adventures when it arrives on Paramount+ this October.
