The ghosts are preparing to rise once more.
ZAG has officially announced Ghostforce Evolution, a brand-new chapter in the supernatural action franchise that first debuted in 2021. The upcoming series has already secured major distribution partners, including Netflix, alongside TF1 in France and Super RTL in Germany.
Set once again in New York City, the series follows Andy, Liv and Mike as they navigate the everyday challenges of growing up while secretly serving as members of the Ghost Force. Tasked with protecting the city from supernatural threats, the trio must balance school, friendships and first crushes with the responsibility of keeping New York safe.
This time around, the stakes appear larger than ever.
Consisting of 26 half-hour episodes and a 44-minute special, Ghostforce Evolution will see the young heroes confronting a wide range of fears as they battle against new supernatural dangers. From storms and snakes to technology and the unknown, each adventure centers around overcoming the things that frighten us most before those fears can take control.
For fans of ZAG’s hit series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, the premise may sound familiar. Like Marinette and Adrien’s adventures in Paris, Ghostforce Evolution places ordinary teenagers at the center of extraordinary situations, blending action, humor and coming-of-age storytelling into a supernatural package.
The announcement also arrives as ZAG continues to expand its growing portfolio of youth-focused franchises. While Miraculous remains a global powerhouse with fans spanning more than 150 countries, Ghostforce Evolution represents another opportunity for audiences to step into a world where courage, teamwork and facing your fears can make all the difference.
