Disney Sizzles This Summer With A Blockbuster Line Up

The sun, the sand, and the seasonal sensation of summer blockbusters are ready to take over.

While there are plenty of ways to beat the summertime heat, one of the most classic is grabbing a ticket to the season’s must-watch stories. This year, Disney is going all in with a dynamic slate of films arriving on screens, offering adventure, nostalgia, music, and magic for fans of all ages.

From the high-stakes adventure of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, to the heartfelt return of Toy Story 5, and the musical myth of Disney’s live-action Moana, Disney is setting the stage for a summer packed with stories that reach far beyond the theater.

And the magic does not stop when the credits roll.

Fans will be able to step deeper into these worlds through Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, Disney+, consumer products, publishing, music, fashion, toys, collectibles, and more. It is a full 360-degree celebration designed to bring some of Disney’s biggest stories into every corner of fandom.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives in theaters on May 22, bringing the fan-favorite Disney+ series to the big screen with an all-new adventure centered around the beloved bounty hunter and his Force-wielding companion. Fans can continue the galactic experience through new Star Wars offerings at Disney Parks, including an all-new mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, along with themed experiences aboard Disney Cruise Line and new toys, LEGO sets, and fashion collections.

Then, on June 19, Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 brings Bonnie’s toys back to theaters for another emotional and playful chapter in one of Pixar’s most beloved franchises. With more than 30 years of Toy Story magic behind it, fans can celebrate through movie nights on Disney+, new toys and wearables, and immersive experiences across Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line.

Rounding out the summer slate, Disney’s live-action Moana sails into theaters on July 10, bringing Moana, Maui, Pua, and Heihei back to the big screen. Since the original animated film debuted in 2016, Moana has continued to grow into one of Disney’s most powerful modern stories, with experiences across Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, Disney+, publishing, dolls, collectibles, and more.

Across Disney Experiences, the summer celebration will continue through theme parks, resorts, and cruise vacations. Walt Disney World Resort will host “Cool KIDS’ SUMMER” from May 26 through September 8, 2026, while Disneyland Resort continues “Kids Rule Summer” during its 70th anniversary celebration through August 9, 2026. Both resorts will also offer limited-time summer ticket deals, giving families more ways to enjoy the magic.

Disney Consumer Products is also joining the celebration with “Disney Blockbuster Summer,” featuring collaborations across fashion, toys, collectibles, and retail. From Crocs and Mattel to LEGO, Topps NOW, Walmart, and Disney Publishing, fans will find new ways to bring these stories home.

Disney+ will also serve as the streaming destination for fans looking to revisit their favorite stories all summer long, with collections from Toy Story, Star Wars, nostalgic throwbacks, and more. Fans can also keep the energy going with the Disney Summer Songs playlist on Spotify, filled with music and feel-good anthems connected to the season’s biggest stories.

With movies, parks, products, music, streaming, and experiences all coming together, Disney is not just releasing a summer slate. It is building a full season of fandom.

This summer, the magic starts on the big screen — and continues everywhere fans are ready to follow.
