DreamWorks Animation and KidsGardening Partner on a Celebration of Outdoor Imagination with the Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour
Gabby and friends set to celebrate the magic of nature at botanical gardens and arboretums nationwideDreamWorks Animation and KidsGardening are launching Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour, a three-month program intertwining the wonder of the new Fairylandia setting featured in the hit Netflix series and the hands-on enrichment opportunities found at botanical gardens across the country. Gabby is stepping out of her dollhouse, and into the great outdoors!
With a mission to help young minds grow and inspire natural curiosity, the Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia activations will offer character meet and greets with Gabby* in her all-new, Fairylandia-themed attire and garden-themed craft activities at each tour stop. Featured crafts include a Kitty Fairy crown and a terrarium, and each child will be gifted an activity booklet including temporary tattoos, watercolor sheet, and button to commemorate their visit. The partnership kicks off at Dallas Arboretum on April 11, and will traverse 12 cities from April to
June, each featuring a two-day stop.
*Gabby meet and greets to feature costume character“Gardening and imaginative play are powerful tools for helping young children build confidence, curiosity, and connection,” says Em Shipman, KidsGardening’s Executive Director. “Through our partnership with DreamWorks and Gabby’s Dollhouse, we’re bringing those worlds together in a
way that feels joyful and accessible for families. When children plant a seed after meeting a character they love, that moment becomes more than an activity. It becomes a memory, and often the beginning of a lifelong relationship with nature.”“The new season of Gabby’s Dollhouse is all about the magical world of Fairylandia, and partnering with KidsGardening is the perfect way to bring all the imagination and creativity to life on the local level,” says Ryan Bradley, SVP, Marketing for DreamWorks Animation. “We can’t
wait to meet families in these beautiful botanical gardens and arboretums across the United States.”Gabby’s Dollhouse is a hugely popular children’s series from DreamWorks, now streaming on Netflix. Season 13 debuted on March 2. The mixed media series unboxes a surprise in every episode before jumping into a fantastical animated world full of adorable cat characters that live
inside Gabby’s dollhouse. Rooted in growth mindset, the series’ activity-based episodes encourage flexible thinking and learning from your mistakes. Gabby herself is positive, determined, embraces imperfection, and celebrates her mistakes, turning them into
opportunities for growth, true to her signature catchphrases “I failed…FANTASTICALLY!!” and “I can’t do it…YET!”Parents can find more information on local events at GabbysDollhouse.com. The Gabby’s Dollhouse Fairylandia Tour schedule includes:
