StuGo Season 2 A No Go

We really wanted to love StuGo, the story had us excited, the animation style was exactly what we wanted but something was off. Maybe we really tried to compare it to Gravity Falls, which was wrong of us, but we can’t stop ourselves. Anyway, we now know from Ryan Gillis that we will not be getting any more of StuGo unfortunately. For us it felt like there was too much going on and too many characters every episode that made it hard to really connect with what was going on, it had an ambitious story but just couldn’t gather the audience. We don’t love these 2 episodes that are shorter, especially when you are trying to form an overall story arc, give us that one 20 minute episode. It is always bad when a show like this gets cancelled, and we really liked so much about that story and design. Hopefully we will get a new show in the works from Ryan.

StuGo season 1 is a self contained season though, so make sure you go watch it on Disney+ and see what you think of a very ambitious project that just didn’t get to see a second season.
