Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition

We love holiday food shows and we love gingerbread so it seems that Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition which airs on November 17 on Magnolia Network and Food Network (Streams the Next Day on HBO Max and discovery+) is the perfect fit. The competition has a series of four challenges as teams build gingerbread worlds right before our eyes with flour, sugar and candy. Each week of the show ill bring new challenges are host Oliver Hudson brings us along for the ride as judges Gale Gand, Michael Ford and guest judges Brad Goreski, Christina Tosi, D’arcy Carden and for the finale, Joanna Gaines, help declare one team the winner. We are loving the fact that each gingerbread piece will be judged on design, structure and creativity, so the winner of Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition will have to be able to do it all.

Magnolia Network announced the premiere date for Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition, a brand-new holiday series set to debut Monday, November 17, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT on Magnolia Network and Food Network. Hosted by Oliver Hudson and executive produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines, top bakers face off in the biggest little gingerbread competition ever imagined. Over a series of four challenges, teams build incredible, edible worlds from scratch with lights, motion, and storybook-level detail in every miniature.

“We wanted to create a show that makes you smile and puts you in the holiday spirit the moment you turn it on,” said Joanna Gaines. “Gingerbread Land is all about joy, fun, and a sense of wonder. It’s a chance for families to gather, cheer on their favorite creations, and be inspired by the beauty and playfulness of the season.”

In the new series, contestants transform flour, sugar, and candy into intricate works of art, competing in playful rounds that test design, structure, and creativity. Each week, new challenges bring twists and surprises, while Oliver Hudson guides the fun with warmth and humor, inviting viewers into a magical holiday world, where imagination has no limits. Judges for the series include, acclaimed pastry chef, Gale Gand, architect and professor, Michael Ford along with episodic guests, celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, chef Christina Tosi, actress D’arcy Carden and for the finale, Joanna Gaines.
