MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE+ – Mickey’s New Helper (Disney)
PLUTO, DAISY DUCK, DONALD DUCK, MICKEY MOUSE, MINNIE MOUSE, GOOFY
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ has a lot of buzz around it and it will premiere on July 21st on Disney Junior, as well as having the first 10 episodes on Disney+ (US), and on demand the next day as the adventure of Mickey and friends from the original continue. The thing to note here is that not only are we getting a new helping friend in Little Helper, but it seems like Duffy the Disney Bear will also make an appearance. This is a great cross marketing as Duffy is big overseas, there is not really much to connect Duffy to Walt Disney World and Disneyland here in the US for kids. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ is going to change that as once Duffy gets introduced, everyone will know who this bear is and then the impact at the parks will be much greater. This is a very smart move and we are now looking to see the Duffy the Disney Bear merchandise to also get an uptick at the parks as well, and maybe even get into more of the stores. We personally think Duffy will take off once this new show comes and we are looking forward to the impact.
Incorporating memorable components like the Mousekedoer, Mouseketools and Toodles, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ introduces the new handy helping friend Little Helper and Duffy the Disney Bear, who will make surprise appearances. Other “plussed up” elements include the expansion of the Clubhouse with the Laughing Loft, a hilarious hangout zone, and the Wacky Tube, which gets Mickey and pals where they need to go in fun and silly ways. Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy will also each get their own personalized clubhouses, which will be revealed throughout the series.
