You know us, we LOVE holiday specials, so we are intrigued to see more of this new upcoming CG-animated holiday special, Dasher. The special will be based on Matt Tavares’ New York Times bestselling picture book, “Dasher: How a Brave Little Doe Changed Christmas Forever” so we do have some idea of what we are getting in the story. If it follows true to the book, we will get the origin story of how Santa Clause came to get this reindeer, with a specific focus on Dasher. We will get to witness a bit about Christmas history from the North Pole. The only thing we worry about is we want to see some pictures or video of the series to see the CG-animated look. We will be looking forward to seeing this in the 2026 holiday season and making the determination if it is a must watch every year.
