Daniel Spellbound feels like a mix between Harry Potter and Indiana Jones but in animated CGI form and we are just loving that the trailer has all sorts of magical creatures and tech going on. While we aren’t a huge fan of CGI animation, this look like such a fun show that we will give it a whirl. Based on the trailer Daniel is a tracker and now is being tasked with stopping a magical evil that wants to destroy the magical world that is hidden in New York City as the Dark Mage is looking for the same thing Daniel is. It seems that this is a family quest as Daniel’s father was also looking for this Gryphon egg when he died.
Daniel Spellbound has all the makings of a great story and we are looking forward to seeing how it turns out on October 27th on Netflix.
In modern day New York City, magic is real – it’s just hidden from the public. But Daniel Spellbound knows just where to find it. Making his living “tracking” hard to find magical objects, Daniel catches the attention of the wrong people when he discovers a rare artifact and suddenly the fate of magical world hangs in the balance.
