Food Network has picked up daytime series Delicious Miss Brown for a thirteen-episode second season, it was announced today by network president Courtney White. Shot on-location in Charleston, South Carolina, the series stars contemporary Southern cook Kardea Brown, who shares the family events, culture and recipes close to her heart. Born and raised on the Sea Islands of Charleston, Kardea grew up in a big family with a love for food, especially the cherished recipes they passed down from generation to generation. She began cooking as a child in her grandmother’s kitchen, where she learned to make the traditional dishes of the region. Season two is expected to premiere Q1 2020.
