Amphibia is a favorite of ours and once we saw that it is a favorite of Kermit the Frog we were sold. The first piece we get to see Kermit checking out the theme song from Amphibia and giving some of his thoughts on it. It is great as Kermit does more of a reaction video and it is funny to see how it mimics other social media reaction videos.

In the second video we see Kermit the Frog as a consultant on the show, talking with Matt Braly about the show and then giving Jennifer Strickland, the Amphibia Storyboard Artist some help. While in the writers room, Kermit makes his “Needs More Frogs” ideas known to everyone. Kermit also gets involved with the casting team as well, and talks about Fozzie and his voice over work and pitches The Muppet Movie by mistake. Who every had the idea to bring Kermit on for these videos deserves a big pat on the back, as they were hilarious.
Kermit the Frog takes on his newest role as the #1 (and only) frog consultant on Amphibia! He helps advise behind the scenes, but he may be taking too much creative control…
Now there has been some outcry for Kermit the Frog to appear on Amphibia, but for us we say no thank you. Matt Braly has built such a wonderfully robust world and we do not need to break that immersion.
