We have our first picture of Whoopi Goldberg, Cloris Leachman, Tony Plana characters on Elena Of Avalor: A Tale Of Two Scepters which airs July 21st. These stars will be voicing the characters Lama, Hool and Qapa, three mystical sunbirds who will help Elena master her Scepter of Light as she returns to Vallestrella. The magical world of Vallestrella is home to many mystical creatures including the Jaquins who teamed up with the sunbirds long ago to save the realms.
Elena returns to Vallestrella to receive training from three mystical sunbirds on how to master her Scepter of Light. *Whoopi Goldberg (“The View”), Cloris Leachman (“The Last Picture Show”) and Tony Plana (“Ugly Betty”) guest star as sunbirds, Lama, Hool and Qapa, respectively.
These colorful sunbirds look great in the picture with Elena and we look forward to seeing how Elena does with the Scepter of Light and whether she has to use it to fight against the Scepter of Night. Based on the title we are thinking that is how this is going to go down.
