Pikwik Coming To Disney Junior In The US

Pikwik is coming to Disney Junior in the form of 52 episodes that will be 11 minutes each. Along with coming to the U.S.A., Pikwik will also make its way to Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and India. The series comes from the same team that did Paw Patrol, so we feel it will be in good hands based on the quality of that show.

The show is going to follow Suki, who is a hedgehog, who helps deliver packages to the residents of Pikwik. Suki will be joined by her team which includes Travor the racoon, Tibor the hippo, as well as Hazel the cat as they target the 2-5 year old demographic. Pikwik should show the value of “teamwork, responsibility and critical thinking” based on what Guru Studio (the team responsible for the show) has stated on their site.

Rachel Reade Marcus, Development Executive at Guru Studio said: “We can’t wait to introduce preschoolers and their families to the quirky and bustling world of Pikwik where fun and duty go hand in hand!”

The show should air, if all goes well, at the end of 2019.

There are plans to include bringing these characters to the app market as well as toys, which makes sense as the characters are just adorable. We think there is going to be a big demand for this license on many different types of products once the show airs.

Stay tuned for more news from Disney Junior on the upcoming Pikwik show.
