NANCY
Fancy Nancy airs on Disney Junior…tomorrow! This is the last episode that we have some photos for, but it also looks to be the one that is the most exciting as it will really be able to teach a lesson. Plus we get to see Bree along with Nancy.
What is interesting is that there is a book in the Fancy Nancy series called Fancy Nancy: Bonjour, Butterfly which is about Nancy being “furious” about not being able to attend Bree’s butterfly party because it is the same day as her grandparent’s fiftieth anniversary party. Based on the synopsis and pictures though, we are not sure if it will follow any of the book or if the name is just the same, but a different story altogether. It will be interesting to see how this plays out and if they use the ideas and stories from the books in some of the episodes during the series or if they only go with more original stories based on the timeframe of the episodes.

We also get a chance to see some more pictures of Bree as well and how her and Nancy work together to solve problems. As always we love the direction they have gone with the animation and we hope that Nancy will be a good role model for the kids. It feels like they really have captured the feeling of the Fancy Nancy books and this will be a show that has a broader age range than stated as many “older” girls still love Nancy.
