DISNEY QUIZNEY – Tips For Scoring Higher

Disney Quizney was on for the first time last night and Trinity Stokes did a great job on hosting the interactive trivia show. We used the DisneyNOW app to test our knowledge of Disney and Disney Channel shows and characters and did well for our first time.

We did not make the top 10 and did not score as high as we wanted for the first night of Disney Quizney, but what we did do is find out a bunch of helpful tips to help you do well.

Television and App timing may not match: The first thing to note is that don’t get flustered if your television countdown is a bit behind of the Disney Quizney app/website countdown. Most of the providers have a bit of a delay on their television feed. Make sure you are using the timer on the app or the website to coordinate your timing as speed is of the essence here.

Answer Quickly: You get more points for the quicker that you answer, so make it quick. Just make sure you read the rest of the tips below so you know that while you need to answer quickly you also need to make sure you get the right answer.

Watch out for Word Play: We can admit that we got a question wrong last night because trying to answer quickly we didn’t actually read the question. It involved Abu from Aladdin, but it was a bit tricky and we answered incorrectly, stopping our chances from being near the top. Remember you can try to pick out key words, but you still have to answer the correct question.

Have multiple people helping you play Disney Quizney: They always say two heads are better than one, well what about having the family all crowd around a device and play. Having more people looking at the question will help you answer quicker, but at the same time one of them may catch something in the question that will help you not pick the wrong choice. Make sure to listen to them before you just start clicking as you only have one chance to answer, no changing your answer. This happened to us last night where we just didn’t listen the Mom of the family and ended up with a wrong answer.

Most importantly, have fun playing Disney Quizney and make it a family bonding experience.

Jocelin Cap: Mother of three. That does not include the dog or my husband either! We have a full household of fun and we just love trying new products of all varieties. May not watch as many kids shows as the rest of the family though.
