Nickelodeon Double Dare Back For Summer 2018: @nickelodeon, #doubledare, doubledare.com
One of our favorite shows growing up is coming back so that our kids can enjoy all the fun we had wishing we could be contestants on Double Dare.
IT’S TIME TO “ANSWER THAT QUESTION, OR TAKE THE PHYSICAL CHALLENGE,” AS NICKELODEON BRINGS BACK DOUBLE DARE IN BRAND-NEW SERIES!
There were a few shows we didn’t miss growing up and Double Dare was one of them. Everyone watched this show and we think that everyone also dreamed of competing on the show and winning the prizes that we all wanted for the holidays from a game show. The show was one of the first of the breed of physical challenges on game shows, but with challenges we all thought we could do well at.
Double Dare Returns This Summer for a New Generation of Trivia, Stunts, Wringers, Hamster Wheels and Nose Picking
The best and worst times were seen when the contestants just couldn’t find that elusive flag, but this show was a way you could have a bunch of fun and win some prizes. While we didn’t watch the 2000 version of the show, we did also love Family Double Dare as well. We are excited for this revival and think that it is going to be popular as it introduces kids to some great television. The little tidbit that is hidden in there is also that there will be appearances from past and present stars. Does this mean that Marc Summers is going to host? Will we get some special episodes with the cast of Nickelodeon shows? We don’t know too much right now but it is all looking good from the announcement.
Nickelodeon is bringing back the original kids’ game show Double Dare this summer with 40 brand-new episodes, giving a new generation of fans the chance to compete in the messiest and most physically challenging competition of their lives. With Double Dare remaining an iconic touchstone for its original millennial audiences, the new version will feature the gameplay and challenges they remember, as well as appearances from blasts from the past and stars from today.
Double Dare features two teams competing to win prizes by answering brain-bending trivia questions, completing messy, physical stunts and ultimately facing the infamous obstacle course–the human hamster wheel; the classic gigantic mouth; the wringer; and the iconic Double Dare nose.
We also got to see a fun introduction video to the new show, but alas it does not have any video from the new show, but it is a teaser showing some fun moments from the original show.
