DUCKTALES – “Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System!” With Gizmoduck

It is May and we are getting new episodes of DuckTales and we even learned a bit more about Della in the last episode “The Spear of Selene!” and now we are going to get introduced to the new version of Gizmoduck. Fenton Crackshell is going to get introduced to the team as Launchpad feels like something is going on with Mark Beaks’ new invention. Hopefully we get a little more of Launchpad in this episode, as the new series really had regulated him to a background role so far.

In this first picture from the episode what is that thing? A horse with Scrooge’s head on it? Maybe that is the new invention that Beaks’ has created? By the way it looks no wonder Launchpad needs some help.

DUCKTALES – “Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System!” – Brilliant young scientist Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera is recruited by Launchpad who is feeling menaced by tech genius Mark Beaks’ newest invention. This episode of “Ducktales” airs Friday, May 11 (8:00 – 8:30 P.M. EDT) on Disney Channel.

What we don’t love is that it looks like they will be running the new few episodes out-of-order. Let us hope that this doesn’t lead to any confusion or issues with the overall story arc. “The Spear of Selene!” was episode 112 with “Beware The B.U.D.D.Y. System!” as episode 114, “The Missing Links of Moorshire!” as episode 113 airing on 5/18/2018 with “McMystery At McDuck McManor!” as episode 111 airing on 5/25/2018. We still haven’t gotten much more information on Magica De Spell and based on the synopsis of these episodes in May, we don’t know if we will. This is the good part of the new DuckTales, we have some ongoing larger stories and mysteries that are slowly unravelling. They mix these in with some real fun episodes, so stay tuned. So looking forward to see Gizmoduck again!
