The Haunted Mansion animated series could have been, should have been, may could still be one of the greatest Disney cartoons of all time and a great tie in to the parks now sits scuttled. This was a demo intro to the series to see what could have been. We get a girl and a ship and the great hallway of haunted pictures and we are left wanting so much more.
The music tone sets the mood as we get a voice narration of what these ghosts are up to the in mansion. Think about all the fun that could be had by welcoming the foolish mortals to the mansion, it really would have been a bumpy ride. The premise of bringing mortals into a mansion where we have bunches of ghosts would have been a great concept, but we think with the pickup of the Hotel Transylvania Series this made the concept a bit redundant and probably was part of the reason it was shelved. Hotel Transylvania has characters that are a bit more recognizable, but The Haunted Mansion series could have brought us a whole new set of characters to be seen in the park.

We can only hope that this gets revisited in the future and it is finally made into a proper series, just think about all the amazing updates and overlays we could have for The Haunted Mansion. We also think it could really get kids interested in the great ride at the parks, and think about the cool merchandise.
