Harkening back to the days when toys and television shows have driven the market together, Hasbro has released a YouTube series to help drive the Chomp Squad toys. This looks like a wonderful show where dinosaurs and humans work together in Chomp City to run the fire, police, medical and emergency needs of the city. The team has all sorts of cool gear to help them with their jobs and they also make some interesting toys based on this.
Welcome to the world of Chomp Squad, where dinosaurs never went extinct! Despite their considerable size difference, these dinos fit right in, happily working alongside humans in a mystical urban jungle called Chomp City. Most of the time things run smoothly here, but when there’s an emergency, nothing can match the power, brains, or bravery of the Chomp Squad: a heroic team of dinosaurs and humans who handle the fire, police, medical and emergency needs of Chomp City. Utilizing special skills, tricked-out gear, and—most importantly—true teamwork, this elite squad of heroes will chomp, stomp, and save the day.
The following episodes of Chomp Squad are up on the Hasbro Channel and introduce us to Blaze, Sparks, Tooth, Nail, Trooper, Badge and the town of Chomp City. These episodes each clock in around the five-minute mark and the animation quality is top-notch.
Episode 1 – Blaze and Sparks respond to a fire at a construction site. A glitch in their gear provides a chance to prove that they’re better together.
Episode 2 – Tooth and Nail sabotage Trooper’s eagerly awaited meal plans by substituting bubble gum for his Chomp Chews. But the tables are turned when they end up trapped in their own sticky mess.
Episode 3 – Trooper and Badge are called out to a routine traffic jam which they realize is being caused by a family of dinosaurs trying to cross the road! They call for expertise in rounding up the hatchlings.
Episode 4 – Trooper and Badge investigate a serial litterer in Chomp City.
