DuckTales is coming on September 23rd with new episodes and to fill in this horrendous void of time with no new DuckTales. Disney has been up to speed with the publicity machine though and we have gotten some really fun videos and some ones that make us thankful for the theme song. This video is unique in the sense that it does not recycle animation from the show, it is something that had to be done specifically for publicity, which show that they are putting in the effort to make this show a success. They should have partnered up with Apple and made the smartphone an IPhone 8 and really done some dual purpose marketing.

This video tells us the beginning of the DuckTales story in Emoji form and then the duck emoji characters hit play on the theme song. We then get a smartphone inspired video of the theme song in emoji form , and our favorite part would be Flintheart Glomgold turning off the theme song and trying to Jokey Smurf Scrooge McDuck with a bomb in a box wrapped up like a present. Even though we are not sold on this version of Glomgold we are hopefully that as we get to see more of him, he will grow on us. We even get Launchpad crashing his plane at the end. This is probably one of our favorite publicity videos that Disney has done and makes us even more excited to watch the new DuckTales.
