“The Lion Guard” – The Rise of Scar Pics

David Oyelowo, who we remember fondly as Agent Kallus on Star Wars Rebels, will be taking on the role of Scar in Disney’s The Lion Guard this July. Now we all know that Scar died in The Lion King, but he did make an appearance in the later films through dreams and such. This time around though we will not see Scar in the physical form but rather a summoned form as Kion summons Scar by using the “Roar of the Elders” by the Great Kings in anger.

This is a great way for us to get a little taste of Scar, who was always the great lion villain in his selfishness. We remember how it all started and how the lions are not all evil. Make sure to tune in to this episode of “The Lion Guard”, “The Rise of Scar,” on July 29th at 9 in the morning EDT on Disney Junior.
