It has been a while since we have heard Disney and Selena Gomez in the same sentence, but fans of both got treated to a quick video of Selena herself talking about the good old days of her time with The Mouse. Selena asks if we remember her? How could you forget one of the greatest actresses to ever have a Disney show? Selena Gomez as Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place is one of our favorite characters of all time.
We just love that Selena enjoys the fact that people know her as Alex Russo and even says that she is always Alex at heart. She also talks on how she got her first job ever at Radio Disney and then gives us a funny joke about her look and age. She looks just fabulous as she stands in front of the Radio Disney background and we would love to see her do some more work with Disney, but we may be asking a lot at this point in her career, plus we just love her music and don’t want her to take away her time from that. She is working on Hotel Transylvania 3 which should be coming out in 2018 and love her as Mavis, it might be just me, but would love to see her forget about those Spring Breakers roles and maybe get herself involved in some Marvel movies. That would be a great way for her to work again with Disney in a way.
We just love how Selena hasn’t forgotten about all her fans that followed her from her start at Disney to where she is now. She will always be a fan favorite at Disney Channel and Wizards of Waverly Place will always be a favorite show of ours because of Selena.
