Hyperlinked with L2M will air on May 31st, but we have an exclusive and fun clip from Episode 4 of the show. This show is a 10 episode series that will show the girls creating their own website as well as dealing with all sorts of tween issues. The clip that we have shows us the girls, Juliette and Justine (played by Mariangeli Collado and McKenzie Mack) taking some questions from their viewers for Nick. The segment “Ask a boy anything you want” works well for the show and is informative to tween girls. This small exclusive view shows us a question about selfies.
We are in love with the idea for the show and hope after the first 10 episodes that it gets a bunch of views and a renewal as well. Also stay tuned as we will have an interview with L2M on their time on the show coming up as well.
On May 31st, YouTube Red will be debuting a brand new scripted series called Hyperlinked that encourages girls to think of coding as cool. The 10-episode series, which stars teen music group L2M, follows a group of girls as they come together to create their own website by girls for girls while also dealing with everyday tween issues involving friendship and relationships. The show will be available on YouTube and the YouTube Kids app for YouTube Red subscribers.
In addition to showing a cool and diverse group of girls with sharp programming skills solving tech problems and everyday issues of the heart, Hyperlinked will also feature fun pop tunes and dance moves which L2M is known for. L2M is a girl band of BFFs named McKenzie, Marangeli, Tati, Jenna and Lexi.
