Season four of Sofia the First on will premiere on Friday, April 28 on Disney Channel (Disney Junior) US at 11:30 a.m. and there are going to be a lot of new things coming to the show. The show was renewed for season four a long time ago (along with Season 4 of Doc McStuffins as well) but it is this month that we will get to start seeing the first episodes in the season.
There is going to be a lot of new guest voice talent this season (and new characters) including two gnomes named Malachite and Fig (Billy Body and Dominic Monaghan), Cystalmaster Prisma (Megan Hilty), Skye the Unicorn (Andrew Rannells) and a dragon that will be voiced by Jane Krakowski. So looking forward to hearing/seeing Jane Krakowski as a dragon, as well as the two gnomes. The Mystic Isles will be introduced in the Sofia The First Episode as well as a book where you can learn all about this land. New information has a character named Vega who is some sort of mix of human/bird character, a crystal fairy, as well as a second dragon that will compliments Jane Krakowski’s character. Sofia will now have a whole new land to protect and new friends to meet as she journeys to the Enchanted Isles. It seems that Amber will also want to go with Sofia and we will get to see what adventures they both have together in this new land.
There are also going to be a bunch of new toys that get introduced as Sofia visits the Mystic Isles as well, I would expect to see some based on the new characters that are introduced as well as some new toys based on our favorite characters from the first three seasons of the show. Get prepared for Season 4 of Sofia The First and all of her new friends and new places to visit.
