Tell us a little bit about your character on Project Mc²?
My character is Bryden Bandweth and she is a super upbeat and spunky tech loving teen. She loves wearing bright colors and bold fashion pieces. She is always up to date on the latest trends in both technology and fashion.

Being what they call the “tech junkie” on the show, what is your personal favorite piece of tech that you cannot live without?
My personal favorite piece of tech is for sure my phone. As sad as it is I am not sure what I would do without it.

Do you personally share any of the same characteristics as your character on the show?
I too love clothes and my phone, but Bryden is like me kicked up a few notches.

When did you first decide you wanted to act? How supportive was your family about the decision?
I first decided I really wanted to act once I began filming my first acting job. I am very lucky to have a family that is extremely supportive of my dreams and will do anything to help me achieve them.

How do you think that the show contributes to the S.T.E.A.M. initiative?
I strongly believe that the show contributes to the S.T.E.A.M. fields because we are showing girls that they are just as capable as boys are to do these tasks. Society does not portray girls as people who are able to be successful in those jobs and the show works to change that as much as it can. Female figures are lacking in those professions and by exposing girls to the possibilities and opportunities that they can create for themselves through S.T.E.A.M. it allows for a brighter looking future of women in those work fields.

How important do you think toys like Roominate, LEGO Friends, and GoldieBlox are to getting girls interested in science?
The Project Mc2 toy line as well as those mentioned are extremely important in developing the minds of young girls and boys. Kids don’t want to do things that aren’t fun and by showing them that learning in general can be fun it opens many doors for imagination and the desire to learn more.

If you could say one thing to all the girls to help them get interested in Science what would it be?
Smart is the new cool so get to studying and discovering all of the cool things S.T.E.A.M. has to offer!

Are there any celebrities you are just dying to meet? What show would you love to guest star on?
I would die if I met Beyoncé. I would love to guest star on Blackish.

Any funny behind the scenes stories?
The girls and I were doing an intense slow motion walk in a scene and all of sudden a bee decides to attack us and all you see is us flipping out in slow motion. It was hilarious and I hope they show it in the bloopers.

What would you say has been your favorite episode of Season 1 and why?
My favorite episode of season 1 is episode 1. It was the beginning of it all and both us and the audience got to experience the characters interacting for the first time. I feel as though the initial meeting of all of the girls was very special and clearly important in developing the storyline. There were some hilarious unseen bloopers from that episode that made it extra special too.

How did you feel when you found out the show got renewed for 2 more seasons?
I was super excited that I would get to work with the girls again and find out more about our characters. I could only imagine the crazy cases the girls would get into next and the people they would meet along the way.

Tell us a little bit about your Dancing and Modeling career?
I began dancing when I was 6 and have been doing it ever since. Dancing is what got me started in the entertainment industry and I am forever grateful that I am able to pursue something I love as a career. Modeling is a more casual thing I do every once in a while and I hope to do it more often.

Are there any other projects besides Project Mc² that you are currently working on?
There is nothing else that I am currently working on as I have just finished the filming of season 3. I hope to update you guys about new projects soon.

Why should everyone be tuning in to watch Season 2 of your show?
There are more characters, twists, turns, cliffhangers, and cases than ever before. It something that is enjoyable for both kids and parents and in both of our new seasons I find that they will reach a broader audience since our characters have matured. I am very proud of the material we have put together. I hope you tune in and I can’t wait to hear the feedback!

Where can everyone find you on social media?

Damon Cap: Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
