Pop artist Asher Monroe recently performed in The Village at KIIS FM’s 102.7 fifteenth annual Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles and instantly electrified the crowd. The event also featured artists such as Bruno Mars, Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato and Fall Out Boy.
Asher Monroe is making a huge name for himself this year. In January he graced the cover and was subject of a feature article in the January issue of Billboard magazine for his top ten Billboard hit single “Here With You”, which was produced by One Republic lead vocalist Ryan Tedder and has accrued almost two million views on YouTube.
The next single from Asher, “Hush Hush,” will be hitting radio in the Summer of 2013. The video for “Hush Hush” has not yet been released but was directed by Academy Award winner Danis Tanovic, who received the Best Foreign Film Oscar for his 2001 movie No Man’s Land. Formerly a member of the boy band VFactory, the singer/actor/dancer is currently signed as the flagship artist to start up label D Empire and has been described by MTV as “VERY GOOD AT EVERYTHING” and was listed as one of MTV’s Top Ten Artists to Watch in 2012.
Asher is also known for his acting work in addition to his musical career. His debut film role was as a lead in the 2009 re-make of FAME. Asher has also guest starred on a number of primetime network hit shows such as, The Mentalist, Medium and had an extended arc on Parenthood.
