Disney Infinity is going to be super HOT when it comes out and Disney Insider Celebrates Disney Infinity with First Behind-the-Scenes Video which gives you some interesting info on the origins of Disney Infinity and how story telling is a big thing in everything Disney. I just look at the Toy Box mode and how open ended the play is and think about how those sort of games are the ones just eating up my kids time. This is going to be the next step in this creative free play and could well get your kids interested in things like programming and virtual creation.
I know I am going to come home one day and just be amazed at what they are able to create with Disney Infinity which is something between a game and a set of tools all with some of the coolest characters out there. This is why this product is going to shine, for the ability to unlock things in the imagination of your kids, so if they are sitting in front of the television you will not feel so bad, because you know they are not just vegging out. For me it is going to be Pirates and Incredible characters that are going to be the highlight of my Infinity experience and I look forward to being able to create some interesting experiences to share with the family.
