A new fan made short film based on the video game BioShock has made its way on the internet gaining a lot of attention wherever it goes. The film entitled, New Year’s End: A BioShock Short Film, is a live action take that precedes the events of BioShock 1 and 2. It looks at a significant event in the history of the Rapture.
In the short film, Andrew Ryan’s vision of utopia is about to be spoiled by a small group splicers that have something ominous planned that will forever change the world.
New Year’s End: A BioShock Short Film was produced, written, directed, edited by Jared Potter who also directed the cinematography, sound, and visual effects.
