Graffiti6 Performs “Free” on The Tonight Show

Graffiti6 recently performed their hit song, “Free” on The Tonight Show and impressed Jay Leno with the performance of the sexy rendition of the song.

The track appears on their Capitol Records’ debut album, Colours, due out next week on January 24th.  With a single in the top 10 at AAA radio, a new title of VH1 “You Oughta Know” artist and a US tour kicking off today, the British duo is quickly gaining momentum in 2012.  

Lead singer Jamie Scott also sat down to record an intimate, acoustic version of another song off the album called “Lay Me Down.”  Visit their official website for more info and a complete list of tour dates.

Graffiti6 is a collaboration between singer-songwriter Jamie Scott and songwriter-producer TommyD. They have been praised in a five-star review of Colours from London newspaper The Independent.

The seven-track “Free” EP is currently available. It includes the radio and stripped-down versions of the title track, acoustic versions of “Lay Me Down,” “Annie You Save Me,” and “Stone In My Heart,” a cover of Fleet Foxes’ “Blue Ridge Mountains,” and a brand-new song, “Foxes.” Graffiti6’s songs have been heard on Grey’s AnatomyCovert AffairsCSI: NYOne Tree Hill, and the MTV series Teen Wolf. MTV has also featured the group in its Freshmen 5, Artist to Watch, and Push campaigns.
