Tinker Bell at Halloween in Hershey Park Treatsville

This past Sunday we had the time and opportunity to go back to Halloween in Hershey, which we had previously visited 2 years ago. Wow they really did something special this year, we not only saw more people and children in costume, but it seems they had a lot more Halloween and Fall decorations around the park. We even saw some impromptu shows being done around the park as well.

The kids arrived and we went around the park doing some rides for each of them, but then it was time to get to Trick or Treating in the designated area in Hershey Park. If you are going to do some Trick or Treating, might as well do it in the park of one of the best chocolate companies.

The two boys were dressed up as werewolves (each with different color hair, just like in real life), and our baby girl was dressed up as Tinker Bell. She is really in this princess stage now and she just loved the costume. As far as costumes go this Tinker Bell costume was easy to get on, was high quality, and looked great. By high quality I can say that even as our 20 month old pulled on different pieces of the costume they held up great, nothing pulled off. This is always a concern with the little ones, and the costume held up great. Also, the fact that the wings were attached with Velcro made it easy to remove them while our baby girl was in the stroller and put them back on nice and quick when she wanted to walk. These are great costumes for the little princess in the family and we happened to see the Cinderella version while at the park as well. Our baby girl was very happy to see Cinderella in the park as well!

The kids had a great time going through Hershey Park’s Treatville and at the end this year they had a great band playing for all the kids. We watched for a while and little Tinker Bell even started to do a little baby dancing! After all of the fun we made sure to stop by Hershey World so we could really stock up on some candy and look at (and taste) some of the new products that they had. Tinker Bell (and family) loved the new white chocolate cookies and cream products.

We had a great time at Hershey Park this year and I really think they did a great job this year, especially after the flooding issues that they had. We look forward to returning to see what spooky stuff they have in store next year!

Note: Tinker Bell Costume was provided by the Disney Store

Damon Cap: Have three kids, two boys (18 and 16) and a girl (12). I had a grandfather that watched cartoons and read the Sunday funnies until he passed. I feel the same way and continue to watch the Disney channel in my 40s. Check out our BSCKids youtube channel Current favorite show is Amphibia.
