Dance Central 2, the most highly anticipated game in our household since Dance Central was released by Harmonix for the Xbox 360 Kinect. This is a game that actually got my son to sign up for Hip Hop Dance Class. Well we were able to get a preview of the game while at New York Comic Con 2011 and all I can say is that we came away impressed.
The most notible addition is the fact that you can play two players on the screen at one time. I mean the first game did not have much to improve, if you ask me so having two players on the same screen and additional moves and songs should keep this game at the same high level as the original. Now with two younger kids I am hoping that the two player does not turn into a push-fest but I have high hopes, plus I think the game will be a bit more fun playing at the same time rather than waiting for the other person in dance battle to finish their set. I love the fact that there are additional songs and that you can import your old songs from Dance Central into the new version as well. So far everything that I have seen of the game makes me think it will be just as addictive as the original game.
