The Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam was a ratings blockbuster, drawing 8 million viewers when it aired last Friday. That’s pretty astounding for a movie only available on cable and that would pretty much only appeal to kids and their parents. Already there’s talk floating around about making another sequel and making the Camp Rock into a trilogy.
Camp Rock star Demi Lovato thinks that’s a great idea. She told MTV that she thought that would be a cool step, but wouldn’t reveal if plans for Camp Rock 3 are in the works or not. A trilogy worked for High School Musical, do you think it would work for Camp Rock? Did you watch the premiere?
