Italian animation company Rainbow Srl has announced a brand-new option for fans to watch their favorite series from the notable entertainment studio. In a post from their official Instagram account, Rainbow revealed an exciting new development: the creation of an SVOD channel on Prime Video.
We are excited to announce the launch of “Winx Club & Friends”, our first themed SVOD channel on Prime Video.
Starting March 10, fans in Italy, France, the UK, Finland, and Sweden can subscribe to a curated, ad-free channel featuring our most iconic franchises.
The channel debuts with beloved titles such as Winx Club, Huntik: Secrets & Seekers, Maggie & Bianca: Fashion Friends, Regal Academy, and PopPixie.
This launch represents a strategic step in our evolution as a global content studio, allowing us to strengthen our direct relationship with an audience of over 100 million viewers worldwide. With new content and third-party properties added monthly, “Winx Club & Friends” is designed to be a dynamic entertainment hub that stays true to the quality and values of the Rainbow brand.
At present, there are no statements regarding further regional expansion for the new channel, though fans remain hopeful in the post’s comment section.
Most of Rainbow’s key titles have historically streamed through global partner Netflix, with whom the company is collaborating on the upcoming Winx Club reboot. However, much of Rainbow’s broader catalog does not currently have a unified streaming home that is easily accessible for viewers.
While the present roster of available titles includes the company’s biggest hit, Winx Club, along with several other fan favorites, it does not represent the entirety of Rainbow’s catalog built over its 30-year history. Other popular titles such as Mia and Me, Monster Allergy, 44 Cats, and the newer entry Gormiti: The New Era are not currently indicated to be part of the lineup.
Even without the full catalog, Winx Club & Friends offers a wide selection of Rainbow’s best-known series for fans to revisit or discover for the first time.
