Dance The Fight Away With Monster High This Halloween

Halloween is just a day away and if you are looking for a costume asap, Monster High has you covered. As we have mentioned previously, these costumes will make you one of the coolest trick or treaters on the block or at the neighborhood party.

The one time of the year (except conventions, of course.) when you can dash out dawning the likes of your favourite character’s attire. With a costume you can embody and become whoever you want to be- no matter how different that is.  It is all about being yourself.

Just like with the ghouls of Monster High. This year we here at BSCKids have talked a lot about the famous monsters, as there has been a lot going on with them in 2016.  From new movies, dolls and even costumes there is a lot offered.

Like every year Monster High offers up new designs for their Halloween costumes. And this year is no expectation. The new Frankie and Draculaura costumes are modelled after their dance wear. The same as seen in the newest flick, “Welcome to Monster High.”  And Skelita’s dress mirrors one of her new doll’s look.

Scary cute, right? All of these costumes and more are available at WalMart. Not only are the costumes great for Halloween, they are also fun for cosplay.

As much fun as heading out to trick-or-treat is, sometimes it is not possible. Life sometimes happens; the weather is not good or you might have caught a cold. But that does not mean you have to leave your costume hanging in the back of your closet waiting for next year. Oh no.

Sometimes the quickest way to turn things around is a bit of creativity and an open mind. Even though going on is off the table, you can still have a sweet time dancing the fight away with Monster High.

This fall the first new movie as part of the new reboot. “Welcome to Monster High: The Origin Story” arrived on Blu-ray, DVD and digital.

After the Great Fright Flight. The monsters of the world have found themselves living in hiding. Sealed away from humans they live both alone and in fear of being discovered. It is a hard life, especially for a teenager ghoul. Draculaura longs to be “normal” – lead a life filled with freedom and friends. Though it seems impossible. Draculaura, along with her new friends Frankie and Clawdeen. Move forward to fulfill their dream. A school for monsters where everyone can be accepted and be normal-ish.

The three work together to gather their fellow monsters from hiding.  As a result grow their school. But nothing as easy as it seems. Draculaura’s plans and intentions are pure and powered by her dreams. Moanica, on the other hand, is filled with resentment. She desires nothing more than to take control over the humans and make them pay for their past actions. And she will do anything to stop anyone that threatens her plans.

Though vastly different from the previous films. The origin story offers a new take on the world and characters we have come to know over the years. Because their lives have been different the characters are different. But if Monster High has taught us one thing is that different is good- and different is accepted.

After all they say that variety is the spice of life, right?

So if you are headed out to celebrate Halloween- or taking things slow with a warm blanket. Grab yourself something sweet (or sour) to much on and be freaky fab with Monster High! And dance the fright away!
