Boys Meets World fans are about to freak out over the best news to date, Mr. Feeny will return! William Daniels is set to return as Mr. Feeny on the spin-off series, Girl Meets World. During the pilot filming of the series, William was spotted on set making many believe it was to be a 1 time guest spot. However, TV Line has confirmed that he will be a regular on the series for a still unknown role. He was previously a teacher and principle on the original series. He was reported seen in a classroom like setting at Rowan Blanchard’s school, so it looks like a possible teaching role again. The series is set to premier this year on Disney Channel.

I am so excited by this news! Mr. Feeny is what helped to make the TV series a hit. His dynamic with Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) was great, so it will be fun to see what it will be like with Cory’s daughter. If she is anything like her father, I am sure she will be the disdain of Mr. Feeny’s existence like Cory and Shawn were. I also have a feeling that he might not be the only other old cast member set to be regular on the series either. It seems like it will be full of surprises.

How do you feel about this news? I am so happy about it, but surprised at the same time. The actor who plays him is in his 70s or 80s, so it is rare to see an actor that old working still (besides Betty White). So I am a tad concerned on how it will affect his health, but excited non the less over the news. He really made the show what it was and if it is anything like the original, he will make a big difference in the spin-off as he did on the original.
