AnnaSophia Robb Wants Intimacy in Carrie Diaries Preview

The latest preview for the upcoming episode of The Carrie Diaries shows Carrie contemplating losing her virginity on her birthday. The episode(which is titled “The Long and Winding Road Not Taken”). In the preview, AnnaSophia Robb wants to celebrate her birthday with her boyfriend Austin Butler. She’s also thinking about spending the night with him thanks to the encouragement of her friend. Will Carrie’s birthday wish come true or will she end up disappointed? This episode will air on Monday March 18th.

Carrie obviously likes her boyfriend Sebastian a lot, but does he feel the same about her? I feel bad for Carrie because I think he isn’t the guy for her. He is her first “love” and she’s learning a lot about relationships in the process. Unfortunately, this often leads to heartbreak. Hopefully, Carrie will wise up and decide not to spend the night with Sebastian- that could be a decision that she really regrets in the future! Granted, we are talking about Carrie Bradshaw here, but I would like to think that she would want her big moment to be special even as a teen.

I think this show is interesting but I wonder if it will last as a long-term series I am kind of concerned this this new series isn’t getting the ratings it deserves although it was kind of expected. The CW has a track record for some successful shows like Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries, but something tells me it might not see a second season. I hope I’m wrong but the ratings aren’t doing so well. I predicted this problem before the show debuted in January because CW’s core audience doesn’t remember the original show that his is a prequel to. Do you think The Carrie Diaries will live to see a second season or will it suffer the fate that many shows before it has?
