SiriusXM to Air GRAMMY® Nominee Family Concert on Kids Place Live


Sirus XM Radio announced that they will be broadcasting The Children’s Recording Arts Alliance annual family concert, featuring all five GRAMMY nominees for Best Children’s Album. SiriusXM’s Absolutely Mindy and Kenny Curtis revealed that they will be hosting the event which will feature music by Bill Harley, Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower, The Okee Dokee Brothers, The Pop Ups, and The JumpinJazz Kids band.  

The concert, which takes place at The Mint in Los Angeles, California, will air Saturday, February 9 at 6:00 pm ET on SiriusXM Kids Place Live channel 78.  It will replay Sunday, February 10 at 1:00 pm ET.

Mindy Thomas, host of The Absolutely Mindy Show, SiriusXM, said,

“We are thrilled for all of the nominees and proud to be airing this family concert on Kids Place Live,. There is such phenomenal talent in the world of independent kids’ music right now and our listeners love hearing about it on Kids Place Live.  We are happy to see some of those artists recognized in such a significant way.”

The concert will also be available on the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and other mobile devices or online after the broadcast. In addition to the broadcast of the concert, SiriusXM Kids Place Live will also air individual concerts from some of this year’s nominees throughout the weekend.
