It is that time of the week again where CW releases The Vampire Diaries Rehashed. This one is about last week’s episode, “Catch Me If You Can” and the social media reaction to it.

It focuses mostly on the ongoing love triangle between Stefan, Damon and Elena, much to the dismay for fans of the original vampires. It certainly is a far cry from what fans want, but it also brings the additional conversation about why the spin-off needs to happen. However fans for the the love triangle, you can find out what the world thought of the episode as well as what Arielle Kebbel down below.

I am not sure what to think. I do think that they are missing a big part of that episode, which clearly featured Kol, Klaus and Rebekah. All three played a very big part in that episode, so it does suck that they were excluded from this rehashing. But at least fans who care about Elena and whoever she picks like enjoyed this rehashing. I think right now it is still too early to tell whom will win her over, I do agree that Damon’s sire bond needs to be broken first for the truth to finally come out. Then maybe we can finally see if what Elena feels is real for Damon or not.

How do you like this rehashing? Should the originals be more acknowledge more than they already are? I think so, but I also think the writers are trying not to connect them to much to the series since they desire to have a spin-off series. So I can why maybe why they are not pushing them so on us. But I will admit that they certainly did deserve to be listed in this rehashing since they are a big part of the story for the last episode.
