Miami Heat Chris Bosh Heading to Disney Channel Jessie With Debby Ryan
Chris Bosh from the Miami Heat will be making his own big Disney Channel break this week. He is set to guest star as himself on the January 18th episode of Jessie, which stars Debby Ryan. The episode is called “Say Yes To The Messy Dress”, a play off of TLC’s Say Yes To the Dress. In the episode Jessie will be bring the kids to meet him, which turnss out to be not a good thing for him since he loses his winning streak thanks to Luke asking Bertram to do Chris a favor for him. Ouch, poor Chris will likely be beside himself when he learns about what Luke and Bertram did, or at least Jessie will be beside herself with concern! Here is the full snyopsis for the episode.
Jessie offers to introduce the kids to NBA All-Star Chris Bosh, who’s in town to play one of Luke’s favorite local basketball teams at the park, but when Luke asks Bertram to wash Bosh’s lucky socks, Bosh has lost his basketball skills.
Poor Jessie, Chris and Luke! I am not sure how they will be able to solve it since a pair of lucky socks will be tough to recapture the luck in them. Hopefully it won’t be too bad for Chris or Jessie in the end. I honestly don’t want to see any of them get into trouble since I am pretty sure that none of them meant any serious harm. It just seems like that when it comes down to luck, Luke and Jessie both do not have the best track records with it at all. It is a shame, but at least it does provide comical relief for many of us.
How do you feel about Chris appearing on the series? I am happy for him since that is an exciting developement for him in his career. Yes, it may not be a plumb role, but I do think that it could be a start for him to land a new career for when he is ready to leave basketball for good. Every good sports player needs a plan for when they retire from their sport, and I am pretty sure that isn’t lost on him when you consider that they all retire on the young side. So maybe this will give him a good start on that part of his life early on.
