Kristin Kreuk Falls For Jay Ryan in Seeing Red – Beauty and the Beast Preview

CW seems to be doing pretty well with the 80s, cult favorite reboot of Beauty and the Beast. Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan have made the show award winning and with the second half of season one’s return, it seems like fans might finally see those two kiss! In the newest episode “Seeing Red”, they have released the teaser for it. It looks like Catherine is in the hospital and seems to be getting special one on one visits from Vincent, who has to stay hidden from those whom know him. It looks like a lot of it will rest on him for the upcoming January 24th episode, which you can catch the preview of down below at the bottom. As for the official synopsis, here it is.

While Cat is in the hospital, she is forced to confront her feelings for Vincent. Vincent barely escapes being caught by his former fiancée, Alex and must deal with the repercussions of his past. Meanwhile, J.T. gets a surprising visitor asking about old research he did on mutant DNA.

It seems like CW was hoping for a Vampire Diaries like following. I am not so sure if this series is capable of doing the same, but it does feel like they have another cult following like it did back in the 80s. So that is a good thing for them to a degree, but as for any possible renewals that remains to be seen. I have heard some conflicting reports and I know a lot of people fear it will end like Secret Circle or Ringer. Hopefully it won’t have the same fate, but I suppose no one can really predict that ahead of the time since viewership numbers are still being counted well before any announcements can be made on renewal or not.

How do you like this show? Is it was good as you hoped or is it another miss for CW? I am not crazy on this show, but I do respect that it does have a decent fan base. It would be great to see it past the common one season series that we have been seeing lots of. It deserves at least another one before anyone can fairly judge if this series has the potential to carry on well enough to really last.

I am loving this show. It has gotten better with each episode and left us with a very dramatic mid-season show. I think this show has some real potential to grow and unlike some of the other shows does not have a complicated mythology to get in to. I would love a season 2.

I love this show! I definitely think it deserves a season two… It has already won an award in the People’s Choice Awards, so it proves that fans really enjoy it! It keeps getting better and better, and I can’t wait to see how things pan out for the characters. They have really grown so much throughout the first half of the series.
