Misha Collins Returns To Supernatural To Join Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles In Hunteri Heroci Preview

CW has released their latest preview for the November 28th episode of Supernatural, titled “Hunteri Heroci”. This episode we see the return of Misha Collins as Castiel, in which he will join Dean and Sam as a hunter! In the episode we will see Castiel help Dean and Sam attempt to solve a disturbing crime that looks a little too much like a cartoon. However, we will have to wait and see if Castiel can become a hunter as he attempts to help Sam and Dean during this trial run so to speak. You can catch the preview that features Misha, Jared Padalecki, and Jensen Ackles down below at the bottom of this post. As for the official TV Guide description for the exciting episode, here it is.

Castiel tells Sam and Dean that he wants to become a hunter, and he helps them investigate a case in which a man’s heart literally burst through his chest. The probe reveals that other strange murders have occurred in town, all of which resemble deaths from cartoons.

Fans of the show should be happy to see that Misha has returned for a new episodes this year. It seems like most of the series’ fans miss him, so it will be nice to see that he still has a reoccurring character on the show. I will admit that he has a great connection with Jared and Dean, so it is nice to see them all working together again. Hopefully we can expect to see more of him in future episodes beyond this one, so I am sort of hoping that he will succeed in his wish to become a hunter.

How do you feel about Misha’s return? Should he come back full fledge on the show or not? It would be great if he could, but I am glad that he is at least has the chance to return a couple of times per season so far. So it is nice for fans to look forward to these kind of episodes through out each season.

I am ambivalent about Castiel’s return. Although, I did enjoy his return episode and it is nice that Sam and Dean have an ally. But he is back with strings attached- and that is usually not good. I am not in favour of Cas complicating the Winchesters’ lives AGAIN. We’ll see if he can win me over.

If he doesn’t complicate their lives, someone will. I’m just glad that this time it doesn’t seem to be of his own choice.

I love seeing the great work from Collins and Jensen Ackles – they play such a complicated friendship so perfectly.
